Walkers news: July 14 -- St. Louis 5, Des Moines 4

St. Louis' Tucker Barnhart hit a two-run home run off Des Moines' Erasmo Ramirez with one out in the bottom of the eight inning to help lift the River Walkers to a 5-4 win over the Harvesters at Busch Stadium.
With the win, the Walkers took three of four games in their first post All-Star game series from Des Moines, which sits in second in the NL South behind St. Louis. The Walkers are 55-38 and own a six-game lead in the division.
A close game throughout, Des Moines took a 4-3 lead in the top of the seventh when a Thairo Estrada sacrifice fly off Jake Diekman scored Nick Madrigal, who had singled off St. Louis starter Aaron Nola.
But the Walkers answered back an inning and a half later, Rhys Hoskins led off with a walk from Rex Brothers. Barnhart drove him home with a 377-foot shot over the right-field wall off Erasmo Ramirez.
Chaz Roe earned the win by getting the final two outs of the eighth inning.
The save, his 18th, went to Keone Kela who pitched around a lead-off single from Jorge Alfaro.
