Located in Los Angeles' Mid-Wilshire District, Los Angeles High School is the oldest public high school in the southern California region, being founded in 1873. In it's long history, the Romans baseball program has produced 10 MLB players, most notably Mel Almada, the first Mexican-American MLB player, and longtime New York Giants catcher Harry Danning.
