Walkers news: May 18 -- St. Louis 1, Green Bay 0
A day after Green Bay's Max Scherzer and three relievers combined to shutout St. Louis, the River Walkers' Kyle Hendricks turned the tables but this time went the distance in a 1-0 win at War Memorial Stadium.
Hendricks needed just 99 pitches and scattered four hits -- three singles and an Aaron Judge double -- in his gem. He struck out seven and walked one one.
The Walkers' offense sputtered for the second consecutive game, but a solo homer from Mike Conforto off Zach Davies in the second inning provided the only run they would need.
