Walkers news: April 23 -- St. Louis 2, Chicago 0
St. Louis and Chicago battled through 8.5 scoreless innings until the River Walkers' Michael Conforto hit a two-run home run off the G-Men's Michael Feliz in the bottom of the ninth to give his team a 2-0 win at Busch Stadium.
River Walkers starting pitcher Zach Godley tossed 6.1 scoreless innings, before being replaced by three relievers (Jerry Blevins, Jake Diekman and Brad Boxberger) who completed the nine innings of shutout baseball
G-Men starting pitcher Bryan Mitchell went six scoreless innings and was followed by two relievers (Jeurys Familia and Sean Doolittle) who both tossed a scoreless innings.
Feliz took the mound in the bottom of the ninth, allowing a lead-off double to Jin-hwan Chung. Conforto followed with his seventh homer of the season.
