After some luck on the AH on a few guys, this is my current roster.

Bench : Adrian Beltre (86 rating), Dickie Thon (83 rating), Jose Canseco (89 rating), Andruw Jones (88 rating), Ivan Rodriguez (82 rating)
Rotation : Kevin Brown (96 rating), Nolan Ryan (95 rating), Bert Blyleven (93 rating), Tim Lincecum (93 rating), Cliff Lee (91 rating)

I did see Eric Gagne up on the AH once, and he's rated a 95, but I didn't want to spend the funds for what he was up for (he was up for nearly 80k). Perfect Ted Williams is out of the question unless I somehow manage to get him from a player pack (he's up from time to time on the AH for nearly 750k). At this point, unless I decide to fudge my rule a step further and include players who've worked for the organization rather than players who've worn the uniform (which would give me Greg Maddux), I don't really see much change happening to my roster unless I can luck into Gagne on the AH again.
