I set all my players individually and set them to ignore team strategy.

I set player strategy to use hit and run behind a high speed / steal ability runner (65+ on each.) It's set to H&R around the middle or a click higher. Also, in my lineups, most of my speed guys bat in sequence (e.g., 7-8-9-1-2) and are set to steal at a 1-2 clicks over average. Moving from LH to RH lineups doesn't change this strategy much and batters 8-9-1-2-3 will have H&R on. That way, I have a good chance of stealing if the batter can't make contact. I don't use H&R anywhere else although if I was playing (not simulating), I suppose there are other spots it would work.
