A bunch of us in Discord have determined that he's selling off his high priced players on the AH, possibly having rage-quit. There's a bunch of cards that he had which are currently on the AH right now that were set at 3 hour auctions at discounted (but reasonable from a fair market) prices.
Since none of us know him, we can't confirm why he's doing this but some have hypothesized that he may be possibly trying to recoup his real dollar losses by taking the pp he gains here and transferring them to someone else via a highly overpriced auction transaction and getting reimbursed offline.
