To better capture real-life playoff rosters, it seems to me that before the Sub-League Series and World Series, players on the Reserve Roster should have their penalties for being sent there reduced to zero. It's totally normal to change rosters and reactivate a player after just one series.
But I wouldn't allow this for the Wild Card or Division Series, as there still should be a penalty for sending a guy down near the end of the regular season.
