Also, if the cards get too expensive, then it's cheaper to buy packs and hope for RNG. There is nothing that says that everyone should be able to obtain every card. That would be a dumb uninteresting game.

Actually, it would make it PERFECT. A true representation of how good a manager you are. All this does now if show how much money you spend. Anyone can do that.
