After a June Swoon (8-19), my team has climbed back into contention due to the #2 wildcard spot being occupied by three sub-500 teams. So we could end up in the playoffs, though I would anticipate our stay to be short. So far, it's been pitching and defense that's keeping us near .500. Our record makes us 17th in the league so if the top 16 teams that advance are chosen by record, we'll stay at the bronze level which is what I'm hoping for.
I have only 3 golds on my roster and 2 of them are in the bullpen. I've not spent any money and I've not sold anything in the auction and I've not opened any packs so I've upgraded only by using PP earned so far. Since my team isn't so great at earning PP, I've been busy trying to find bargains on the AH and that has been part of the fun so far.
