I dont love that you can buy players directly (without packs), but what about it? People will buy other type of players (bronze, silver, gold), incresing value of anything below platinum (a good thing). And will buy players when they have room in their roster for better players.
And with time and good results they could form the "perfect team". Seems like a fun game to me.
