I just logged in after the new patch and have a similar situation - I feel sick because I have been playing out games in the same fictional league since launch (2+ seasons and in first place in 3rd season).
It might be that the save is corrupt. At least if you hadn't tried moving the save around or changing anything with it, that's the most likely explanation. - I've never moved any files.
Can you try to restore the autosave and see if that fixes things? I don't see this option.
1) Open the game and on the start screen, click on Settings (or Preferences in OOTP 11-14). Done.
2) Now click on the tab "Troubleshooting". Done.
3) Click "Open folder containing saved games". Done. I see a league folder with the correct name (CBL.lg).
4) Now open up the league folder you're wanting to restore. Done. There is nothing in the league folder. Zero files.
5) Then select all of the .dat files in the folder and back them up (just in case) by copying them to a temporary folder or creating a zipped file with them. No files in this folder.
6) Open the folder called "auto-save". I don't see this.
7) In there, select all of the ".dat" files and copy them to the league folder (the parent of the current folder) overwriting all of the ".dat" files in the league folder. I don't see this.
Let me know how that goes and if it works for you.
Again, this is since the last patch. Today it the first day since installation of it that I logged in to get a few in. -Rob
