Do they? Not the rating at a postion, but the infield error, turn double play, outfield range, etc.

Just wondering if anyone has seen these ratings change over time. I have a AAA 3rd baseman who I would like to get up on my ML team, but the only opening on the infield is 2B. He has a below average turn double play rating (45 on the 20-80 scale) and I don't want to give up defense just to get his bat in the line-up.
