Exit velocities and launch angles

Has adding Statcast type of data like exit velocities and launch angles to the game been discussed for future OOTP releases?

Ever since these stats have started getting reported on mlb at-bat and baseball savant, I've become utterly addicted to them. I love seeing the results of a live play and then look at the numbers to see how lucky or unlucky the batter/pitcher was in the outcome.

I love arguing with people about how the goal for a hitter is to hit the ball hard at the correct launch angle, it's not to get a cheap hit since there's no known reliable skill in getting cheap hits. When a team strings together 5 hits hit under 80 mph, I argue that the pitcher isn't pitching nearly as badly as one who is giving up 100+ mph line drives hit right at fielders over and over again.

I'm really addicted to these stats and am always looking at xwOBA on baseball savant. It's a good way of finding guys who are over or underperforming based on how well they're hitting the ball.

Watching the Astros and Red Sox win the last two World Series made me realize that baseball is about 100 times more complicated than anyone realized even a few years ago.
