Overhauled news system
Have posted this for the last couple of years but hoping again for the next version. We're still using the same news system as years ago, it's time to have another look and how we get sent information and allow it to be better customised to meet our needs.
For instance I turned 'game performance' news off because I don't care if somebody struck out 10 or had five hits, but I would want to know if they threw a perfect game or a no hitter. Likewise I'd want a notification when another league championship/title win is decided even if they're outside of my organisation (or indeed my country) but understand others would have no interest in this.
See for example the way news is handled in the Football Manager series. They do it brilliantly, letting you subscribe to particular categories covering individual competitions and countries. For me this would be a huge leap forward for the series because as much as I love it the inbox is a terrifically stale part of the game.
