Philly comes out quick, scoring twice in the first frame of game two. They score again in the 2nd, and extend the lead to 4 in the third.
Minnesota scores late, but its obviously too late. 4-1
Flyers tie the series.

Bloomington for game three, the
North Stars gives the home crowd something to cheer about early.
Randy Wood and
Brent Aston both score in the first. The crowd's jubilation does not last.
Philly rattles off 4 straight goals in the 2nd,
Steve Yzerman getting points on 3 of them.
Flyers win game three, 4-2.
Steve Yzerman continues his strong play into game 4, assisting on two first period
Flyer’s goals.
Philly makes it 3-0, but
Minnesota does respond. They score two quick ones before the end of the 2nd, making it a one goal game. After the teams exchange goals,
Steve Yzerman’s 14th puts the game out of reach.
Philly wins 6-3, putting them a win away from glory.

Dino Ciccarelli score, making it 3-2 in the third. On the PP though, it’s none other then
Steve Yzerman, scoring the eventual winning goal.
Flyers win game five, 4-3, and take the series in 5!!
