The
Bruins haven’t played in for the Stanley Cup since 1966, when they won their 5th cup against the
Red Wings. That’s a 22 year drought they will be looking to end
. St. Louis is playing in their 3rd finals, having won the Cup in 1983.
Neal Broten is a very underrated player. I never mention him, but he’s really really good. He had a great season.
Scott Stevens is the best defenseman in the series. He’s made a huge difference in
Boston. The Blues rely on
Stan Smyl and
Denis Savard. Both teams are very evenly matched, but look at the
Bruins power play. If they are converting at that rate, I can’t see the
Blues stopping them.
St. Louis must stay out of the box!
