I believe there was a post on this a while back, but I do not remember seeing a solution or comments from the developers. It seems like when 3D was first introduced, there were three sky types - day, dusk and night. Sometime during v19 it shifted to where there were only two, day and dusk.

Is there a setting that I can adjust to get night back, or it just went away?
