I only knew the basics but not much more since i don't even watch baseball, it's a little slow paced for me to watch on tv. The first time i played i got over whelmed and didn't play it for a awhile but once i did again i was happy i did. I'd give it a solid 9 to 9.5/10. I had to learn as i went. I did a lot of googling when i first started but i would highly recommend it as it's the best sim game i've ever played and like i said i'm not even into baseball but i am a bit of a stats nerd and this has more stats then you can wrap your head around. Oh and you can basically customize everything in commissioner mode. Player contract demands are pretty realistic as well. Your 1 star player putting big numbers but only making a million dollars? Well be prepared for him to be asking for a big money and maybe a long contract if he's still young. Depends on his greed level as well.
