Don't know if this will help, but I set up a two-team league, made up of an all-time AL all star team and an all-time NL all star team.

I used the player IDs from the "Master" file (located in the "Stats") folder.

I then selected the player's best season.

I also added another field listing either "AL" or "NL". This put the player on the correct team without having to go through a draft.

Examples of the formatting are:

aaronha01,1957,NL
alexape01,1915,NL
bankser01,1959,NL
benchjo01,1970,NL
berrayo01,1950,AL
boggswa01,1987,AL
brettge01,1980,AL
carewro01,1977,AL

These represent what I considered the "best" seasons of the careers of Hank Aaron, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Ernie Banks and Johnny Bench (National League) and Yogi Berra, Wade Boggs, George Brett and Rod Carew (American League).

I've attached the text file, hopefully this will help you (and others) with formatting.

It is not necessary to include a year or team in your data.

File is attached, hope this helps.
