Two teams that did not have very good seasons. I’d say both these teams, were just ok. Ok is good enough this season. Infact, both teams finished with the exact same, 40-31-9 record.

Brett Hull became a feared goal scorer this year. The team played strong team defense, and that combo was good enough. The
North Stars are the defending champs, so it’s easy to forgive them for having their worst regular season in years. They clearly are still a top team with this run to the finals. Vegas has to have
Minnesota as huge favourites. They have more talent and experience. Experience has to count for something, right?!
