What I don't know is which OOTP actually uses when it says "WAR", other than it can't be rWAR since it lists that separately. It's possible OOTP uses its very own formula.

I don't think it's listed anywhere but I do remember them announcing starting the use of fWAR for pitchers for the release of OOTP 18
