This now means that the entire AL West has won a World Series, the Yankees are now the only team in the AL never to win the World Series, and the Mets are now the only team in baseball never to even make the World Series. Then we have the Nationals (who are now on 102 seasons without a championship), and the Cardinals (who are on a 59-year drought), but the Yankees, Nats, and Cardinals have all lost a World Series Game 7 (Yankees in 2019, Cardinals in 2040, and Nationals in 2045).
