This maybe a bit late in coming but....Did you backup your HD to a disk using Time Machine? If you did, simply open Time Machine, click on Restore, make sure you have it set to the backup disk, and click Restore. It'll give you a list of files to restore. Click on Users and then your user ID. Next click on OOTP and that should do it.

If you simply backed up your HD to a disk, open the disk and search for OOTP. On a MAC, the game would be stored in your /User/Library/Container. Look there for the OOTP files.
