every college kid goes to A- or A and they can't be that good. the service times aren't too bad, but likely could cause some lack of players too.

Actually, after running some test leagues, I have decided to go without any service time or age limits on the minor leagues for the time being. I noticed without the limits, the CPU seems to move their prospects through the system in a more realistic pattern. I like the idea of service time limits, but the AI seems to hold the young guys back in the lower minors longer with limits on.
The only downfall is there is the occassional instance where some older scrub players might make some apperances in the lower minors. However, I am all for realistic promotion for actual prospects, so if I happen to see a 30 year old or two in low A ball every now and then, it is not the end of the world.
