04/22/1979 - Expos Win at Chicago, 7-2
Rodney Scott left his imprint on the 7-2 Montreal win against the Chicago Cubs. Scott, who is tied for 4th in the NL in stolen bases with 5, was 4-6 with 4 singles. He drove in 4 runs. The Cubs fall to 7-7 and continue their uneasy start to the 1979 season.
With Montreal leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Scott hit a fastball from Lynn McGlothen for a run-scoring single. It was his 9th hit of the season and put the Expos ahead, 2-0.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Montreal manager .
