IPA TOP DEFENDERS HAUL IN GOLD GLOVES
Defense is the name of the game for the 2057 Golden Glove Award winners... they range far and wide to make a big difference in the game's outcome... the Golden Glovers don't always get the recognition they deserve, but they are an important part of the game... you better believe that the guys on the hill really appreciate them when they save the day with a super play.
The Islandian Pro Alliance proclaimed the 2057 Golden Glove honorees for the Ruthlandian Union and the Tycobbian Union yesterday... the top defenders were led by the Glasco Athletics with three recipients, Gordy Glisson, Allen Spears and Oliver Crotwell... no other teams had multiple winners... only two rookies made the squads: catcher Goldy Zellmer of Southport and center fielder Steve Schueler of Blue Lake... third baseman Allen Spears of Glasco and right fielder Daryl Vale of Midway chalked up their third Golden Glove trophy to top the teams.
