Advertising handbill for McNaughton's Pavilion in Oakland, California the famous boxing arena was located on the corner of Webster and Finegold near the red-light district....Jimmy "Hard Luck" Cafferty ran the establishment and acted as chief matchmaker from 1896 to 1914 but it was owned by Francis "Flash" McNaughton notorious gambler, loan shark and one-time borough captain....
