Never realized just how awful 1972 was in regards to offense. It's not 1968, but it's bad. .244 league batting average, 3.69 runs scored per game. Ugh! And guess what, my RDL is underperforming the real deal right now to the tune of a .239 league batting average. 1973 can't get here soon enough. Of course, 1977 looms in the near future. I'm guessing book of offense get completely rewritten that season. We are working our way to 1986. Once 86 is played, my plans are to use a random number generator from 1980-1986 to determine each future year. If I get 1980, the plan is to use 80, 81, 82 until 86 is played and then use the random generator all over again.
