1st October 2021 part 2
Our players in the Major League are mainly with lowly teams that have no chance of a play off spot.
Billy Edwards is the only one that may get to be in the play offs. His Houston Astros have clinched the AL West division but he is still not guaranteed a spot in the play off roster. His month of September saw him play in 20 games, all of them as starter. He tried his best to make it impossible for the Astros to drop him as he hit for an average of .324, his best of the year. He had 5 RBI's and 9 runs scored.
Kelford Clark will definitely not be in the play-offs as the Detroit Tigers sit bottom of the Al Central table. His month of September saw him pitch in 10 games with a 2-1 record and 3 saves to bring his tally for the year to 25. His ERA for the month was 1.69.
Dan Hurt is another not going to the play offs. The Philadelphia Phillies have struggled all year even with Dan on their team. The month of September saw Dan have a few issues as he only hit for an average of .263. That was his worst all year. He had 1 home run, 9 RBI's and 17 runs scored.
Gabriel Eskola only played 6 games in September as the Richmond Flying Squirrels failed to make the play offs. His average over those 6 games was .250.
Bart Snyder played 6 games for the Birmingham Barons and did not embarrass himself with a .222 average. He had 5 RBI's and 4 runs scored.
Luis Elizondo also only played 6 games in September for the Biloxi Shuckers but was hot over those 6 games hitting for an average of .462. He had 10 runs, 4 RBI's and 2 home runs.
