Well, it sounds like you, like me, got pretty obsessed with OOTP pretty quickly after purchasing it. Honestly, I guess I still am () but sometimes with these things you can get a bit burnt out too and need to step back. I know that for all of the hours of enjoyment I have had with this game I've also had some of those moments where I found myself just getting so mad and frustrated with my players. It wasn't (isn't) good for my blood pressure. And then I have to remind myself, hey, this is just a game and it's supposed to be fun. So, no harm in stepping away for a bit. Or trying something completely different in the game. The reality is, sometimes I have the most fun just exploring my fictional universe, strolling through my minor league rosters, checking out the latest stats and seeing what's trending. I can do this for hours without actually making a single move in the game and without the calendar in my fictional world moving even one day ahead. And that can be very relaxing and re-energize me too. Sometimes the temptation is to want to move too fast and get lots of results quickly. (Granted, for some people that is the perfect approach most of the time.) I'm just suggesting that sometimes slowing it down might help too.
