Japanese sensation and the centerpiece of the Broncos off-season rebuild Kuniaki Fujiwara will undergo elbow surgery today and be lost for the remainder of the 2012 season. The 31-year-old was 6-6 3.72 for the Broncos through 14 starts with 101 K's in just 94.1 innings. They currently sit atop the NL Central just 4 games ahead of Texas. 2008 1st round draft pick (14th overall) Freddie Garner will be recalled to take the rotation opening.
