1. There's a Cuban name mod that has a whole bunch of Y-names like Yanier, Yohanet, and Yuriandi. You can find it listed here
2. Likewise, if you want Balkan names, there are Albanian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Serbian, and Slovenian mods. You can also find them in the above-linked list.
3. OOTP now comes with an Israeli nameset - it's nameset #40. Have you tried it? And, if so, what do you find unrealistic about it?

If I recall correctly, the names are almost exclusively Arabic
