1) Default, I have no complaints with those default settings.
2) I use 100% ratings. I have more fun that way that mixing the percentages. I also turn off scouting or set it to 100% accuracy. I do not play solo enough for this to be too easy.
3) The individual attributes are most important. OVR is a mixed rating and is not always indicative of what a player can do. Batters I look at Contact and Eye. If those are developed or developing, then the player is a candidate for promotion. I prefer Contact to be 100% developed before a ML promotion but injuries and overall minor league talent will trump that. Pitchers I look at Stuff and Control. I really prefer control to be 90% developed but sometimes injuries make me do things I don't like.
4) Rating drive stats and stats do not change ratings. If a player’s ratings are low (and their ratings are accurate) they can overperform, but it is less likely to remain at that level. I rely more on ratings, so a better performance does not mean a promotion, better rating development does.
5) I don’t use stats. If I bring a player up who is not fully developed I want to give them a month~ish of starts to see how they do. If they perform they stay if not they may go down. Say the first 2 weeks they play poorly, then a week of mediocrity then a week of what I expect their rating be produce. I will give them another week or 3. They hit .128 or post a 7.50 ERA in 20 innings of starts I am demoting them.
6) I only play the Cardinals so... St. Louis!
7) I do not know, they are there I just do not know them. You are welcome to post here. This is a helpful community.

Good luck,
Tom (LP)
