To be fair the namesets in football manager while good still need improving and do improve from year to year.
It’s a super difficult task and when you have developers of mostly one nationality it’s even more difficult because because while you can use census data unless you are immersed in the culture for decades it’s hard to get a “feel” for names.
And FM has 100+ researchers feeding in data and they still have people who pop onto the forums from different places to bring up issues.
