Ultimately the goal is to win at the ML level so if he can help your team try to be patient with him at the ML level - sometimes it takes 1 yr for things to click so don't lose patience after just 1 season. The only time I let a spec sit in AAA mashing is if I have no room for him at the ML level and nor do I want to trade him. As mentioned before there is an element of randomness to this game.
