Right ideally have two separate manager accounts. On days where both teams have games, you play one game, turning off the simulation option. Then immediately after the game, switch managers WITHOUT finishing the day, and play your next game. That time you can turn on simulation if you want.

The biggest risk is not hitting “finish day” before you have played the second game.
