Was only watching the Friday game out of the corner of my eye at this point, but a friend of mine who was paying more attention said that after Carpenter's final at-bat (not Carp, that's reserved for a different Carpenter) was shifting back and forth from leg to leg like he had tweaked something,
He speculated that was why he was taken out of the game.
Although, he seemed just fine today.
Just throwing that out there
Edit: From another poster, I saw that Carpenter said he was OK with being removed from the game. Who knows.
