
That defensive scoring. What is that,
four defensemen averaging .5 points per game? And the forwards are no slouches, either. Once the reserve clause goes bye-bye, if they can pick up a star, that team is going to be invincible. Heck, it's already pretty close. And the game will still force them to head to Cleveland and fold... it makes you wish dynamic history were easier to code.
I remember Madden '06 had a relocation engine whereby teams could relocate if their home fans hated them enough, but that was EA with a huge staff and bigger budget. Also, to the best of my knowledge (which is admittedly very narrow), sports video games don't allow teams to fold. Football Manager allows sufficiently distressed teams to go into administration (I saw this happen to an AI team in one of my playthroughs), but no outright collapse.
