So I'm still fairly new to playing historical games. I started a season in Challenge Mode with the 2005 Cardinals and I noticed that every team is already in debt. The owners won't allow any trades unless the money is even and you can't offer any contact extensions/free agent contracts. Also, some of the contracts are ridiculous... For instance, Jim Edmonds is making $40mill a year through 2008. How do I fix this to make the game more playable?
