Thank you! I noticed this in OOTP '18 and
posted about it back in January. 12,985 active players total, of all nationalities, in the database of one of my past leagues and 1,914 were either named Juan or Luis.
The disparity in the Hispanic min/max is too much, IMO. Juan and Luis have default frequencies set to 6,500 and 4,600 in the
first_names file. For Jose, the frequency is even higher at 10,000; all while the majority of Hispanic first names are set to 1. After 10+ seasons, I'd finally seen enough Juan's/Luis's and drastically lowered the frequencies, myself, to get more variety.
Just choose any random player of Hispanic nationality (preferably a fictional/generated player who's name you don't care for), go to his
Editor and keep clicking "Assign Random Name" over and over. Tells you all you need to know.
