Not to play the ogre here, but this forum is for REQUESTS. I don't care for the tone of your submissions, nor your consistent badgering for a particular file. Case in point, the Frank Bower cap swap. You often include in your requests "Do if you wish", well I spend time on the projects and images that I choose to spend time on. The Brower wasn't even originally requested by you. I would have gotten back to doing that image at some point, much like the Merl Combs image that you have chosen to reference. I seem to recall having this conversation previously over your requested Debs Garms colorization.
Do you even read the posts that you quote as evidence for your "hypocricy" or "conspiracy" regarding your posts? The Merl Combs image was revealled as a cap swap, after which the 2 posters disinherited it. The only image that they requested was the Jack Conway image. I did the Merl Combs image on my own and evidently you were able to use it since you immediately requested a cap swap to the Red Sox. The 2 actual Cleveland Indians images of Frank Bower were submitted as possible alternatives to the cap swap, again not a bad thing as many times a better image is there to be had in someone elses' collection (much as your recent colorized Bill Knickerbocker.
I do agree that when these alternate images are found or posted that they could be added without a guttersnipe comment regarding the originally posted image.
