The jewel of the North Country is Wuerfel Park in Traverse City, just a few minutes south of Grand Traverse Bay. Last night, our Beach Bums had a perfect evening to play and closed out the visiting Gateway Grizzlies on a 9th inning single.

A few shots of our local park for you all. The park is owned by some local resort owners, hence the bayside resort look. Seats about 5,000. Good food, good folk, good Michigan craft beers, comfy seats with cup holders, family atmosphere, sometimes good baseball. Two years ago we were Frontier League champs...this year, 23-26. C'est la vie.
