  • Shamar Scippio (SAN) tossed his 3rd shutout of the year to beat Oklahoma 3-0 and move to 11-3 2.85

  • Ignacio Justiniano (MIN) beat Las Vegas 1-0 on a 5-hitter to go 7-7 4.50 on the year.
  • 7/22: FLA 11 OH 5 Funicello PotG 2-4 HR (10) 3 RBI (33) Flores 2-5 3B (5) 3 RBI (42) CS (13) Peterson 3-5 2B (1) 2 R
  • Eric Hecht (ALK) went 5-5 with a Grand Slam and 5 RBI's in the Kodiaks 10-9 win over Phoenix.

  • Man-Keung Yuen (PIT) struck out 10 in a 2-hit 5-0 win over New England. He's 10-4 2.26
  • Kunimichi Mikami (MIN) also tossed a 2-hitter striking out 7 to beat Las Vegas 3-0. He's 8-7 4 SV 5.26
  • Curt Hanning (SAN) tied the ABA single-season record with his 6th shutout. Fanning 5 in the 3-hit 3-0 win over San Diego. He's 11-3 3.30 on the year

  • Davon Ducheine (MIL) tossed a 3-hitter striking out 5 in a 2-0 win over New York. He's 1-1 3.63 following his 14-9 4.23 2008 season.
  • 26-year-old Sergio Marroquin (POR) hit for the cycle in the Lancers 8-2 win over Kansas City. The rookie is hitting .288-7-40

Makata Hayashi is ready to return. He went 11-25 5 HR 11 RBI in his week of rehab to take home AAA PotW honors. Not wanting to lose Renovato and knowing Pat Peterson is still maturing as a player and has options left, Peterson is optioned to Alamogordo where he will play left every day and be the LH setup guy in the pen.
