October 17th, 2025: Even though I am upset about the result, I do have to finish playing out the playoffs so I can win next year. The ACLS starts today with the Rays hosting Seattle. Tampa defended homefield with a 5-2 opening victory.

October 18th, 2025: The NLCS kicked off today with the Braves hosting the Cubs. Tyler Glasnow and the pen shut the Cubs out 5-0 as the Braves looked untouchable in the opener. The Mariners were able to even up the series as former Marlin Mitchell White and the npen shut the Rays out 9-0 in a more dominant win. Janisel Rivera was 3-for-3 with 2 homers, a double, 3 RBI's, 3 runs, and 2 walks.

October 19th, 2025: Looking to go up 2-0, Zach Attianese made a solid start, tossing 6 innings and allowing just 1 run in a 5-3 win. Ronald Acuna was 1-for-2 with a three run homer, walk, and 2 runs scored. In a losing effort, Mac Horvath was 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, run, and walk.

October 20th, 2025: I claimed 1B Jovan Gill off waivers, and hoped no one was paying attention so I could sneak him back through. The former 6th Rounder is rated a 1/3 and can play first, third, left, and right. He's got great speed, an elite eye, and a decent enough bat.

With the series in Seattle, the Rays offense showed up today, and they crushed the Mariners 10-3. Freudis Nova was 4-for-5 and a triple away from the cycle with 4 RBI's, 2 runs, and a walk. M's Paul Goldschmidt was 2-for-3 with a homer, 2 RBI's, 2 runs, and a walk. Rays starter Jacob Faria tossed 5 innings with 4 hits, a run, walk, and 5 strikeotus in the winning effort.

October 21st, 2025: The NLCS started back up, and the hometown Cubs survived a late inning rally and edged the Cubs 4-3. Jorge Flores tossed 7 innings with 4 hits, a run, 4 walks, and 4 strikeouts in the win.

The Mariners and Rays had a pitcher's duel, but Seattle walked off in a three run 9th to win 4-3. With the bases loaded, Carlos Leandro walked Reese McGuire to end the game. Both starters pitched well, with Chris Sale allowing just 1 run in 7 innnings with 5 hits, a walk, and a strikeout. Former Marlin Joe LaBrie tossed 7 innings for Seattle, allowing 7 hits, 2 runs, a walk, and 5 strikeouts. Three of their four starters used to pitch for me.

October 22nd, 2025: The Cubs tied up the series in a 5-3 win. German Marquez went 7.1 innings with 5 hits, 3 runs, a walk, and 4 strikeouts to earn the win.

The Rays edged the Mariners 3-2, and will head home with a 3-2 lead. Travis Swaggerty was a perfect 3-for-3 with a solo homer and walk in the win. Brendan McKay went 7 innings, allowing 5 hits, 2 runs, a walk, and he struck out 5 to get the win. Janisel Rivera was 2-for-2 with a two run homer and walk in the losing effort.

October 23rd, 2025: In a series that the home team won every game, the Cubs took a commanding 3-2 lead with a 9-2 win as the series heads back to Atlanta. Kris Bryant was 2-for-4 with 2 homers, 3 RBI's, and 2 runs. Florencio Serrano got the win, going 7 innings with 4 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts. Anthony Rizzo was 2-for-2 with a solo homer, walk, and 2 runs scored.

October 24th, 2025: The Rays could clinch a spot to the World Series, and clinch they did, with a 4-2 victory. Matt Wallner was 2-for-4 with 2 solo shots. Mitchell White pitched well in the loss, 6.1 innings with 5 hits, 3 runs, 2 walks, and 6 strikeouts. Mariners Kole Enright was 2-for-3 with an RBI and walk in the loss.

October 25th, 2025: The Cubs could meet Tampa in the World Series, but they'd have to beat the Braves in Atlanta. Daniel Hernandez hit a walk off single off Graeme Stinson and the Braves won 4-3. Ronald Acuna was 4-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk, and 3 runs scored. Attianese went 6 innings with 3 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts. Hernandez was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI's.

Game 7 saw Lucas Sims duel Jorge Flores. Atlatna is 5-1 at home, the Cubs 2-4 on the road. Flores was unhittable, and the Cubs shut the Braves out 6-0 to punch their ticket to the World Series. Unhittable may be an overstatement, with Flroes tossing 8 shutout innings with 8 hits, 2 walks, and 9 strikeouts. Kris Bryant was 1-for-4 with a three run homer and walk. Anthony Rendon was 1-for-3 with a solo homer and walk.

October 27th, 2025: I kind of forgot about Gill, but I was able to outright him to AAA.

October 28th, 2025: The Rays hosted the 2025 World Series, and took a 1-0 lead with a 7-2 win. Faria tossed 6 innings with 2 hits, a run, and 11 strikeouts. Joe McCarthy was 2-for-2 with a two run homer. Freudis Nova was 2-for-4 with a two run homer.

October 29th, 2025: I needed to make room for Mickey Moniak, so I DFA'd Caleb Balgaard.

The Rays took a commanding 2-0 lead with a 9-1 win, while scoring 7 in the 7th. Despite the Cubs being against the wall, this is how they started the NLCS. Brendan McKay went 6 innings with 3 hits, a run, a walk, and 5 strikeouts. The Cubs Florencio Serrano went 6 innings as well, with 6 hits, 2 runs, and 5 strikeouts. Freudis Nova was 3-for-5 with 3 RBI's and a run scored.

October 31st, 2025: The Cubs were back home and had their best pitcher Jorge Flores, who was 4-0 with a 0.64 ERA in the postseason. They were down 3-2 heading into the 9th, before Kris Bryant hit a solo homer to tie the game. In the 11th, Freudis Nova hit an RBI single to give the Rays a 4-3 lead that they would keep, and are 1 game away from a sweep. Travis Swaggerty was 3-for-4 and a triple away from the cycle with 2 RBI's, 2 runs, and 2 walks. Dallas Woolfolk tossed 6 innings with 2 hits, 2 runs, a walk, and 8 strikeouts. Kris Bryant was 2-for-4 with 2 homers, 2 RBI's, 2 runs, and a walk.

November 1st, 2025: The Cubs never had a chance, and Tampa swept them with a 8-4 win. I would've represented the NL much better... Nova, who's been great all postseason, was 2-for-5 with a homer, 5 RBI's, 2 runs, and a walk. Anthony Rendon was 2-for-3 with a double, homer, 2 RBI's, run, and walk in the losing effort. J.P. Crawford was 3-for-5 with a solo homer and 2 runs scored.

I outrighted Balgaard to AAA, and we'll start the offseason tomorrow!
