I expect the WHA to get a bunch of guys drafted. That's where their talent will come from.
Great eye on Bathgate and Hall. Yes, Hall should have reached 1000, but both Chicago and Pittsburgh dropped the ball on that. He was still too good to be in the minors his last few years.
Bathgate suffered 3 seperate minor injuries in the 57/58 season. A hip flexor strain, a sore ankle and a hamstring strain. He missed about 4 weeks combined that year. Other then that, you are correct. He played every game from 52 to 69!! That's pretty amazing!
