After Dallas beat my SF in the first round of the (US/CAN/PR) Roosevelt Cup they lost to Calgary in the finals. Now in the Marshall Cup world championship, we beat Barquisimeto from Venezuela, then Wahiawa from Hawaii, and beat Long Island (the only other team over 100 wins this year and who horsewhipped SF out of the Marshall Cup last year 4 games to 1) four straight after losing the opener of that series (and going down 5-0 in the first inning of game 2 on 3 ERRORS
). The rest of that series ended up being pitching duels all the way with me burning through the bullpen and lucking into a couple of big innings toward the end of each game.
Dallas beat the Kralendijk Hornets 4-2 to advance to the semifinal and a rematch! So for this season the games have split 7-6 :/ Here we go again...
