- Jace Camp has an issue with his intercostal. That's not a thing to mess with. He's out at least a month. He's put on the 10 day and Luis Samvdio is recalled. Luis was 1-0 2.01 in 4 AAA starts.

- SP Joe Weiss (LV) will likely miss the remainder of the season after undergoing arthroscopic shoulder surgery today. 28-12 the last 2 seasons, he was 2-1 3.33 so far this year.

- Jamie Watkins (PIT) tossed a 1-hitter fanning 8 in a 2-0 win giving him back to back shutouts and a 4-2 1.94 April.
- The Bears learned SP Jorge Castro will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery today. The lefty was 2-2 2.70 on the year. He joins Ace Mike Lloyd on the DL for San Francisco who, despite losing 3 pitchers for the 2007 season, have managed a 15-11 April to stay just 3 GB of LA at 18-8.
