For 13 years the Gators struggled in virtually every way possible. Discounting our fluky year 2 success we suffered through a lot of losing in New Orleans, a lot of forced trades, and a lot of aggravation. So it's hard to believe we're now heading to the World Series and we'll be facing off against 89 win Seattle Mariners.
Both teams are pretty similar, high scoring offenses and imperfect pitching staffs. Both teams are also pretty subpar on the road, so with home field advantage maybe we can squeak out a seven game series win.
