Mitch Jones was a cup of coffee player with the Dodgers in 2009 IRL. I didn't like the fact that he had no fielding ratings with the default database, so I re-imported him via the Spritze database, and deleted the default database version of him. As you can see from his profile page (first picture), his first two seasons in the bigs were...well...awful. But he did demonstrate some pop. His third season he completely exploded for 48 dingers, which is my league's all-time mark. According to his editor page (second picture), the pop is maybe a little high, but pretty much right on, but the batting average is forty points higher and that took everything up with it.
This doesn't happen with every Spritze guy I bring in (or obviously I wouldn't do it), but when it does happen, they tend to go off with an earth shattering ka-boom! In my OOTP16 game, I brought in a PCLer named Red Porter, who had some phenomenal seasons in my game (despite the Editor Page saying he should be a sub-.200 hitter pretty much every season). Neill Sheridan was another Spritze guy who went off this year for the Phillies, but like I said, not everyone does.
